Design and calculation of various types of chicken houses

After consulting the poultry farming equipment manufacturers, the author summarizes the following. Now let’s talk about the design and calculation of the three kinds of chicken houses, such as the chicken house, the breeding house and the brooding house, as follows:

1. Layer chicken house:

1) Equipment selection and technical parameters: caged laying hens should be selected according to the size of the chickens produced by the parents’ breeding farms. Light chickens are available in 9LDT-396 and heavy chickens are available in 9LIT-Q84. They are all stepped chicken cages. It can be fed mechanically or manually, and the water is automatically supplied to the sink or cup.

2) Determine the span of the house: Three-layer full-step chicken cages can be used for mechanical feeding. Two-layer full-step chicken cages should be used for artificial feeding to facilitate feeding and observation of chickens. The cage design of each chicken house is generally 2-4 columns, and the domestic use of 3 columns and 4 channels. The span of the chicken house is not too large, which is conducive to ventilation inside the house, and the proper density is about 15/m2. The width of the channel between the cages is 60 cm in the north and 70 cm in the south. Otherwise, the construction is wasted and the work is inconvenient. Chicken house net span = chicken cage width X chicken cage row number + channel width X channel number.

3) Determination of the length of the house: The length of the house should be calculated according to the modulus of the equipment used in the layer cage equipment.

Net length in the house = each cage length X number of cages per cage + feed head length + tail length + head end operation channel + end operation channel + operation length.

Number of cages per row = number of cages per cage X number of cages

Total length of the house = net length in the house + thickness of the wall X2

Chicken house floor area = house length x house width
