Automated chicken farming equipment you need to know about chicken farming

Automatic chicken raising equipment includes: chicken cages, water supply equipment, feeding equipment, ventilation equipment, manure cleaning equipment, etc. Today, the poultry cage manufacturer will take you to take a detailed look.

Chicken battery cages. The brooding can use horizontal or three-dimensional multi-layer brooding cages. Laying hens or broilers are basically caged now. Chicken coops are generally three or four tiers, which can raise more chickens.

Water supply equipment. From the perspective of saving water and preventing bacterial contamination, the head drinking fountain is an ideal water supply equipment, and a water-proof drinking fountain must be selected. Nowadays, V-shaped sinks are commonly used for growing chickens and laying hens in cages, and they often supply water with running water, but it takes effort to clean the sinks every day. Hanging tower type automatic drinking fountains can be used when raising chicks, which is sanitary and water-saving.

Feeding equipment. Feeding troughs are mainly used, and long troughs are used for caged chickens. This feeding method can also be used when brooding chicks flat, and can also be used for feeding in buckets. The shape of the trough has a great influence on the throwing of feed for the chickens. If the trough is too shallow, there will be more feed waste if there is no protective edge.

Ventilation equipment. A closed chicken house must be mechanically ventilated. According to the direction of airflow in the house, it can be divided into two types: horizontal ventilation and longitudinal ventilation. Horizontal ventilation refers to the airflow direction in the house perpendicular to the long axis of the chicken house, and longitudinal ventilation refers to a ventilation method in which a large number of fans are concentrated in one place so that the airflow in the house is parallel to the long axis of the chicken house.

Egg collection equipment. Chicken farms with a high degree of mechanization use conveyor belts to automatically collect eggs, which is efficient but has a higher rate of damage. In October, most chicken farmers use manual egg collection.
