Inspection work before using poultry farming equipment

Because most of the chickens raised by farmers now use chicken battery cages to raise chickens in Ghana, the henhouses are also closed henhouses. In a house like this, timely ventilation becomes even more important. The fan is the ventilation equipment that farmers choose most now. The fan can exhaust the turbid air in the chicken house and transfer fresh air to the chicken house. In order to ensure the use efficiency of the fan, the farmers should do the inspection before using the fan. The author will talk about the inspection before using the fan.

1. Confirm whether the specifications of the fan and prime mover meet the order requirements and whether all accessories are complete.

2. Check whether the power supply (voltage, switch, etc.) and wiring meet the electrical requirements and whether the wiring is correct.

3. Check whether there is condensation water, dust and other debris in the fan and pipeline. If so, it needs to be cleaned up to avoid major failures when the fan starts.

4. Confirm that the anchor bolts, the main body of the fan, the various accessories and attachments, and the connection parts of the connection pipelines are tightened as required.

5. Check whether each part is correct. For couplings or belt-driven fans, check the couplings or pulleys, whether the v-belt installation is reliable, and whether the coaxiality of the fan shaft and the motor shaft meets the requirements.

6. Check whether the bearing lubricating oil (grease) is sufficient and intact. If there is an oil supply device, first test run for 2 hours and measure whether the oil temperature and oil pressure are normal.

7. For fans with water-cooled bearings, check whether the water supply condition of the cooling water pipeline is abnormal.

8. Manually rotate the fan shaft and prime mover shaft, check whether the rotation is smooth, and confirm that there is no abnormality.

9. Rotate the prime mover alone, confirm that the rotation direction of the prime mover is consistent with the fan rotation direction, and confirm that there are no abnormalities on the prime mover side.

10. For belt-driven fans, check that the tightness of each v-belt is consistent.

11. When using a coupling that requires lubricating oil, check whether the injected lubricating oil is acceptable.

12. Check whether the regulating door is fully opened or closed, and whether there is abnormal movement. When the fan enters and exits the R regulating door, the centrifugal type is fully closed, and the axial flow type is fully open, and the starting load is minimal.

13. For fans with forced oil supply for bearings. Make sure that the amount of oil in the oil tank, whether the oil tank and the oil pipeline are clean and free, the direction of rotation of the oil pump, the water supply and drainage mechanism of the oil cooler, and the interlocking mechanism are normal.

The above is shared by the author, the inspection work of farmers before using the fan. In addition to fans, poultry farming equipment also contains many additional equipment, such as layer chicken cages cost, broiler chicken cages, automatic manure cleaners, automatic feeders, and automatic egg collection systems. Farmers must use them flexibly to make the breeding process more convenient.
